UFC lightweight Des Green reportedly involved in multi-vehicle collision leaving two dead

ABC 10 News reports that former Titan FC featherweight champion, and current UFC lightweight, Desmond Green has been involved in a multiple-vehicle collision in Davie, Florida. The incident, involving 5 cars on Interstate 75 has left two people dead.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Green was driving a Dodge Durango SUV at 6:15am Saturday, August 18th, when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and swerved in front of a semi truck. The resulting pileup wrecked three more vehicles, killing two passengers, Emelina Morfa and Emma Suarez Hernandez, and sending the driver of their car, Mily Vita-Vega, to the hospital with serious injuries.
