The same week he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, Matt Serra had to put his renowned Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills to use.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Serra subdues a drunken patron at a restaurant at a Las Vegas restaurant. The former UFC welterweight champion keeps the man at bay from the mount position, telling him to “calm down,” until security arrives to intervene.
“How do you spend the night before your [UFC Hall of Fame] induction?” Serra wrote. “You subdue some asshole drunk that was threatening waiters then tries to swing on you.
