TUF 21 eschewed the usual tournament format for a modified round-robin style competition featuring two of Florida’s top MMA gyms. The Blackzilians’s Usman and American Top Team’s Hassan were selected by their respective squads to represent them in the finals. Usman went 2-0 on the show while Hassan won all three of his fights, including a split decision nod over future welterweight contender Vicente Luque that earned his team a season championship.
