Four of Brazil’s best were rewarded for their thrilling finishes on Saturday.
Two-time UFC champion Jose Aldo received a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his second-round TKO of featherweight contender Renato Moicano, and Marlon Moraes was also rewarded for his first-round submission of Raphael Assuncao in the bantamweight main event of UFC Fortaleza.
This was Aldo’s second straight win after defeating Jeremy Stephens last July, a result that also earned him a performance bonus. Meanwhile, Moraes collected his third consecutive bonus check in addition to avenging a June 2017 split decision loss to Moraes.
