Urijah Faber is back. The 40-year-old pioneer of the lower weights came out of retirement in his home town of Sacramento to take a fight with up-and-comer Ricky Simon this weekend, and knocked the prospect out in under a minute. That earned Faber another chance to grace the UFC bantamweight rankings this week.
There are other familiar faces, and a couple of new ones, that entered the rankings coming out of UFC Sacramento. Julianna Pena is back right into the top five at women’s bantamweight. Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno are back at flyweight. And Ryan Hall makes his rankings debut after a big win over Darren Elkins.
