The first numbered show in forever that wasn’t a PPV delivered in every way, from crowning a new champion to establishing a gaggle of new contenders in a few divisions. Glover Teixeira because an improbable beltholder at 42, finishing former champ Jan Blachowicz in the main event. Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen put on a fight-of-the-year candidate, with Yan taking the interim belt home.
