Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight grapplers Diego Sanchez and Marcin Held collided last night (Nov. 5, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 98 inside Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. Sanchez hasn’t been a top fighter for years, but he’s still a consistent and tough test for many Lightweights. He served his purpose last night, checking to see if Marcin Held was really UFC-ready.
After years of strong performances in Bellator, Held finally made his UFC debut last night. Against a crafty — scratch that, crazy! — veteran, Held was looking to make a strong first impression in front of a new fan base.
