Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight veterans Roan Carneiro and Kenny Robertson threw down last night (Sept. 17, 2016) at UFC Fight Night 94 inside State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
Carneiro was able to regain his position inside the UFC by winning an eight man, one night tournament and finishing each of his foes. He split a pair of bouts at Middleweight, but last night he returned to his usual weight class of 170 pounds. On the other hand, Robertson has been grinding away in the Welterweight division for some time. He’s improved into a rather well-rounded fighter, and he was hoping to overwhelm the jiu-jitsu ace to get back into the win column.
