The Ultimate Fighting Championship made its Adelaide, Australia, debut on Sunday local time (Saturday in the United States). With 10 of the 12 bouts on the card ending in a finish, the fighters didn’t make it easy for the UFC brass to select the post-fight bonus winners.
There was no Fight of the Night bonus awarded at UFC Fight Night 65, but UFC president Dana White announced the four Performance of the Night winners shortly after the event. Each of the awards is accompanied by a $50,000 bonus.
Co-main eventer Robert Whittaker was an easy choice.
