Although Mike Perry authored one of 2017’s most violent knockouts at UFC Fight Night 108, he is the one facing a potential six-month layoff following this past Saturday’s event.
Perry was one of four fighters handed a 180-day medical suspension following UFC Fight Night 108 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The Tennessee Athletic Commission recently released a list of medical suspensions from the event.
“Platinum” finished Jake Ellenberger with a standing elbow 1:05 into the second round of their featured welterweight clash. Perry must be cleared by a physician for a possible nose injury or he will be out 180 days with 180 days no contact.
