UFC featherweight Alex Volkanovski believes he is ‘a very bad matchup’ for reigning champ Max Holloway

Streaking UFC contender Alex Volkanovski believes it’s only a matter of time until he beats Max Holloway to claim the featherweight throne.

Volkanovski, who beat ex-featherweight king Jose Aldo at UFC 237 to establish himself as the next No. 1 contender, believes he is a bad matchup for Holloway despite ‘Blessed’ having a considerable height advantage.

Volkanovski believes he has the wrestling, power and cardio to pose all kinds of problems for the reining featherweight champion.

“I’m not the cocky type, but if Frankie gives Max problems, I’m going to be giving him serious problems,” Volkanovski said in a recent interview with BJPenn.
