UFC DC is in the books, and was capped off with the company’s #14 ranked heavyweight, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, stopping the #6 ranked, Alistair Overeem, with just four seconds left in the fight. Rozenstruik remains undefeated and just scored the biggest win of his career. He was behind 40-36 on all three scorecards at the time of the stoppage.
Both men were being calculated to open the match. Overeem closed the distance and got himself a takedown, right into side control. Rozenstruik tried to scramble to his feet but Overeem was staying heavy and taking advantage of his superior ground game.
