UFC Champ Max Holloway Needs to Cut an Unhealthy Amount of Weight…in 6 Days

Max Holloway earned a lot of respect from MMA fans for having the moxy to face fearsome lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov on short notice at UFC 223. Anyone that's paid close attention to the sport over the years, however, knows that the toughest and oftentimes most dangerous part of fighting isn't the wrestling and punching in the cage it's the weight cut that takes place beforehand.

Judging from Holloway's nutritionist George Lockhart comments (who did an extensive interview with BloodyElbow.com) the trek down to 155 pounds might be even scarier than a match with the grappling specialist.
