Miranda Maverick is one of three fighters who is facing a potentially lengthy layoff on the heels of UFC Atlanta.
Maverick, who revealed she tore her ACL in the second round of Saturday’s co-main event against Rose Namajunas, is suspended indefinitely — or 180 days — until she receives doctor clearance. Maverick fought through the injury and lost a unanimous decision to the former strawweight champion.
The Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission released a full list of medical suspensions from the event on Monday. The specific nature of each suspension was not revealed, and every fighter on the card received at least a seven-day mandatory term.
