The top of the UFC Adelaide billing involved the promotion’s #7 heavyweight Junior dos Santos stopping the ranked #11 Tai Tuivasa in the second round. Tuivasa rushed JDS right away, full steam ahead to no avail. JDS was content to sit back and wait on the aggressive Tuivasa. A massive leg kick buckled JDS and Tuivasa landed a couple of big punches to follow up. Tuivasa picked up where he left off in the second frame, backing up JDS and touching him with the hands. JDS caught Tuivasa with his hands down and seized the moment by dropping him.
