UFC adds ESPN, WWE vet Todd Grisham to broadcast team

The UFC is bringing in a veteran TV reporter and host for its broadcast team.

ESPN and WWE veteran Todd Grisham has been hired by the promotion and will work on the studio desk and in the play-by-play role for fights, sources confirmed with MMA Fighting on Tuesday. Grisham’s debut will be on the desk at UFC on FOX 23 on Jan. 28 in Denver.

Sources said Grisham was not brought in to be a replacement for Mike Goldberg, the longtime UFC play-by-play man whose final event was UFC 207 on Dec. 30.

The UFC declined to comment on broadcast changes when asked by MMA Fighting.
