The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s gala show on Saturday has taken a couple of unexpected hits.
On Thursday, BJPenn.com broke the news at Bobby Green (32-17-1, 1 NC) vs. Diego Ferreira (19-6) would no longer be taking place at UFC 319 on Saturday. The aging lightweights were expected to duel inside of the United Center in Chicago, and the UFC has since confirmed that a Green injury forced the match to be postponed.
Green was looking to put a two-fight first-round stoppage loss skid in the rearview mirror on Saturday.
