Gastelum, the winner of The Ultimate Fighter 17, returns to the octagon in dire need of a turnaround after the biggest skid of his career, a three-fight downturn that most recently ended in a first-round submission loss to Jack Hermansson this past July. Prior to that, he suffered a split call loss to Darren Till and a loss to current champ Israel Adesanya in a 2019 “Fight of the Year” winner contested for the interim belt.
