Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson got back in the win column and earned his first UFC bonus check since 2016.
The two-time welterweight title challenger snapped the first losing skid of his career with a vintage striking performance against rising contender Vicente Luque at UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, but both men were given a $50,000 Fight of the Night award for their three-round battle, officials announced afterwards.
This is the second Fight of the Night award for Thompson and the third for Luque in his last four appearances.
