Dan Hooker made a huge statement at UFC 243 both with his performance and then his call out after a win over Al Iaquinta in the co-main event.
Hooker showcased a dominant striking arsenal to punish Iaquinta round after round in arguably his biggest win since moving to 155 pounds with the scorecards coming back 30-27, 30-27 and 30-26 to give him the unanimous decision victory.
Afterwards, Hooker took to the microphone to call his shot for who he wants next in the Octagon.
“Dustin Poirier, I’m going to smash your face in,” Hooker said when calling out the former interim lightweight champion.
