UFC 243: Al Iaquinta could face six-month medical suspension

The UFC 243 medical suspensions are in, and top-ten ranked lightweight contender Al Iaquinta could be forced to sit on the sidelines for up to six months, per mixedmartialarts.com.

Iaquinta was battered by Dan Hooker in the UFC 243 co-main event and faces a 180-day medical suspension unless cleared by a doctor.

Newly-crowned UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya came out of his headlining bout with Robert Whittaker relatively unscathed and will be back to full-contact training in just 7 days. Whittaker, on the other hand, faces a 60-day medical suspension. ‘The Reaper’ was knocked out by Adesanya in the second round of the UFC 243 main event at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.
