Islam Makhachev earned his sixth win in a row with a strong showing against Davi Ramos and now he’s targeting the winner of the UFC 242 co-main event.
In front of a friendly crowd in Abu Dhabi, Makhachev used accurate power strikes early and then a heavy-handed ground attack late to get the job done over three rounds. The scorecards read 29-27, 30-26 and 30-26 all in Makhachev’s favor and he wasted no time making his call for what he wants next.
“I beat today a very tough opponent,” Makhachev said.
