Red hot Max Holloway (pictured) faces former WEC and UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis for the interim featherweight crown in the show’s featured attraction after light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier was forced to pull out of the main event against Anthony Johnson with a torn groin.
Holloway and Pettes weren’t going to compete for a belt, but the UFC decided to up the ante and salvage the depleted card.
