If one judges' card had gone the other way back in December, Claudia Gadelha would have taken a decision over Joanna Ju0119drzejczyk and gone on to a UFC women's strawweight title shot.
Instead, the split decision went Ju0119drzejczyk's way, and she went on to defeat Carla Esparza for the title.
But now it appears Gadelha is ready for what promises to be a fantastic rematch. Gadelha scored a dominant victory over former World Series of Fighting champ Jessica Aguilar at UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday and likely earned a title shot in the process.
