Tyson Fury Eyes WBO Belt

Tyson Fury isn’t done plotting his next move just yet. Taking a break from Shorinji Kempo training on Saturday, the former two-time heavyweight champion provided an update on his comeback plans and floated a new potential opponent should the long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua fail to materialize this year.

Fury, who announced his fifth retirement in 2025, has quietly ramped up preparations over the past month for a return bout following back-to-back decision losses to heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk in 2024. Now, at 37, “The Gypsy King” appears determined to write one more meaningful chapter.

And if Joshua isn’t ready?
