Tyron Woodley has revealed the injury that led to his stoppage loss against Colby Covington in the main event of UFC Vegas 11.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN posted a photo of a X-Ray scan provided to him by Woodley that showed he has a broken rib. According to Woodley, the rib was popped early on in the fight and caused him “the most pain ever” after he attempted to get up from a submission he was going for in the fifth round.
The fight between Woodley and Covington hit the mat several times, but it was the last one that brought about the end of the fight.
