No one appears to be on the same page when it comes to the UFC welterweight title picture.
A week after UFC president Dana White told MMAjunkie that Kamaru Usman is the next man in line for the 170-pound championship against either welterweight king Tyron Woodley or former interim titleholder Colby Covington, “The Chosen One” is clearly targeting another match-up.
Usman tweeted Wednesday night that he had signed a contract to compete for the welterweight gold in March, referring to the UFC 235 pay-per-view card slated for Las Vegas on March 2, and that prompted a quick response from Woodley.
