An injury to Donovan Desmae has caused a last minute change in the lineup for Cage Warriors’ final card of the year. Arguably the biggest name in the European promotion, Paddy Pimblett (14-3), is returning after the biggest layoff of his career. The 24-year-old will now face TUF 27 finalist Joe Giannetti (8-2-1), with Desmae’s removal from the card. The lightweight clash will feature on the main card next Friday, November 22 from the Indigo at the O2.
Pimblett has been out of action since his defeat to Soren Bak, in a bout for the promotion’s lightweight title in September 2018.
