ONE Championship has revealed a ONE Interim Featherweight Muay Thai World Title clash between Scottish knockout machine Nico Carrillo and Thai veteran Shadow Singha Mawynn at ONE Fight Night 40 on Friday, February 13. The event airs live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 27-year-old Carrillo will attempt to capture interim gold at ONE Fight Night 40 in his second opportunity after his bantamweight title dreams were shattered by Nabil Anane’s TKO victory at ONE 170 last year.
Shadow, meanwhile, gets his first crack at the belt and looks to become the division’s interim king while his compatriot – reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai – recovers from a leg injury.
