Jon Jones owns one of the sport’s deepest highlight reels.

“Bones” became the eighth martial artist in Ultimate Fighting Championship history to capture titles in multiple weight classes when he laid claim to the undisputed heavyweight crown with a first-round guillotine choke submission of Ciryl Gane in the UFC 258 main event on March 4, 2023 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Gane conceded defeat 2:04 into Round 1, having been thoroughly outclassed by one of the greatest fighters of all-time. Jones—in his first appearance in three-plus years—executed a takedown a little more than a minute into the bout, applied his ground-and-pound while climbing into a seated mount position and threaded the needle on the choke.
