Top 5: Cris Cyborg Inflection Points

Invincibility proved to be an illusion with Cristiane “Cris Cyborg” Justino.

Amanda Nunes made Ultimate Fighting Championship history at the expense of her fellow all-time great, as she captured the undisputed women’s featherweight crown and did so in utterly sublime fashion when she buried the Chute Boxe superstar with punches in the first round of their UFC 232 co-main event on Dec. 29, 2018 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Cyborg clocked out 51 second into round one, suffering her first defeat in well over a decade.

Nunes was the aggressor from the start and managed to overwhelm her compatriot with punches inside the first minute.
