Tony Ferguson promises to bring the pain in his lightweight bout with Anthony Pettis at UFC 229.

Tony Ferguson is returning to the UFC a lot sooner than expected, and the former interim lightweight champion has promised to put a beating on Anthony Pettis at UFC 229.

Ferguson, 34, has been sidelined with injury since April, when The Ultimate Fighter 13 winner was forced to pull out of his headlining title bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223 after suffering a ‘freak’ accident during a pre-fight media promo.

But, ‘El Cucuy’ is back and, according to a recent Instagram post, the former welterweight tournament winner has some unfinished business to settle with ‘Showtime’ on Oct.
