ABU DHABI — Tom Aspinall isn’t buying the narrative that Ciryl Gane is an easy assignment even if the odds say otherwise. The undisputed heavyweight champion (15-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) defends his title against former interim champ Gane (13-2) on Saturday at UFC 321 inside Etihad Arena. FanDuel lists Aspinall around -500, with Gane a +340 underdog, but the Brit warned against underestimating his opponent.

“There’s this notion… that Ciryl is not very good, which is complete bullsh*t,” Aspinall said at media day. “He’s super talented, been at the top for years. He’s been an interim champion and had two shots at the undisputed.
