Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight titleholder Renan Barao will get a chance to exact his revenge against the man who stripped him of the strap, reigning 135-pound kingpin TJ Dillashaw, after a couple of false starts.
They'll do the deed in the five-round headliner of the upcoming UFC on FOX 16 event, which takes place this Saturday night (July 25, 2015) inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois. That's assuming the Brazilian doesn't slip in the bathtub prior to Friday's weigh ins, or whatever his bizarre mishap was at UFC 177.
Canceling their second go-round in Sacramento forced the promotion to elevate Joe Soto from the "Prelims" and while he put up a good fight, the new and improved Dillashaw (11-2) was too much for him to handle.
