As reported on UFC Tonight on Wednesday, a bantamweight rematch between former champion T.J. Dillashaw and Rapahel Assuncao is in the works for the big milestone card in Las Vegas.
Dillashaw and Assuncao fought at UFC Fight Night 29 in 2013, with the Brazilian taking a narrow split decision victory.
That fight would be the last that the former Team Alpha Male fighter Dillashaw would lose for the next two years. The 30-year-old Dillashaw (12-3) rattled off four victories in a row, including a dominant performance over Renan Barao at UFC 173 to take home the 135-pound title.
