The Combate Americas main event is confirmed for Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas and will cost $39.99 to order. It’s long been known that this fight would happen, but the details were confirmed on Monday’s episode of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.
Ortiz (20-12-1) is a former UFC light heavyweight champion and hall-of-famer who has retired and unretired multiple times over. His latest retirement walkback came after his knockout win over Chuck Liddell in last November’s Golden Boy MMA main event.
