Tim Elliott will replace the injured Joseph Benavidez and face Ben Nguyen at UFC Fight Night 110.
The promotion announced the new matchup on Wednesday evening. UFC Fight Night 110 takes place at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, on June 10, and is headlined by a heavyweight showdown between Mark Hunt and Derrick Lewis.
Elliott went 2-4 during his initial UFC stint but returned to the promotion after winning Season 24 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” That performance earned him a flyweight title shot against Demetrious Johnson, and Elliott acquitted himself nicely but ultimately lost a unanimous verdict to “Mighty Mouse” at the “TUF 24” finale.
