Bantamweight knockout artist Thomas Almeida is craving to step back into the Octagon once again. Still recovering from eye surgery – which he underwent at the beginning of 2019 – ‘Thominhas’ hopes to return before the year is out, and does not wish to stay away from the cage any longer than early 2020.
On his own Instagram page, the 28-year-old wrote a lengthy post addressing his absence from the sport—and also guaranteeing he won’t be retiring any time soon. In fact, although he has no fights booked, Almeida believes he will be cleared to train again as early as October.
