UFC 234 wound up losing its main event before it began, but at least the myriad of fighters on the rest of card were able to showcase their talents in front of rabid Aussie MMA fans.
Replacement main event saw Israel Adesanya taking on all-time great middleweight Anderson Silva. There was quite a bit of hype surrounding the battle, but there wasn’t any when it came to Silva, who opted to use his longtime anthem “Ain’t No Sunshine” from DMX.
