The Ultimate Fighting Championship brought its 24th event to “The Mothership” Saturday, with a nine-bout bill that was decimated by injuries and last-minute withdrawals.
Saturday’s event, which went down at the Apex in Las Vegas, witnessed some interesting music choices: Alex Morono selected the bizarre metal pirate-themed “Shipwrecked” by Alestorm. Not to be outdone, Kyle Daukaus made his walk to the tunes of The Spinners’ “The Rubberband Man,” a song about an obese man that could dance at an usually high level and played an instrument consisting of a rubber band wrapped around his toes.
