In last week's fight, Abner Lloveras was rather dominant in his win over Jason Gonzalez, giving Team McGregor the 6-3 lead over Team Faber at the end of the elimination round. Things got worse for Urijah and his merry men after Dana White decided that the worst performance so far came from Team USA's Chris Gruetzemacher, sending him packing.
