The Real Winners and Losers From UFC 298

It's a pay-per-view night in southern California.

And if you like your UFC shows top heavy, it's certainly your kinda card.

The 12-bout event from the Honda Center in Anaheim includes a pair of preliminary segments (6:30 and 8 p.m.) with little to no star power before graduating to a five-bout headline portion (10 p.m.) that's billed as UFC 298 and topped with a sixth title defense by featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

The popular Australian arrives third on the UFC's pound-for-pound rankings and returns to 145 pounds after a second bid for Islam Makhachev's lightweight belt ended in a first-round loss atop the UFC 294 show four months ago in Abu Dhabi.
