A monstrous 6-foot-8 Brazilian stands between former Bellator MMA champion Vadim Nemkov and Professional Fighters League immortality.
The Fedor Emelianenko protégé will square off with Renan Ferreira for the company’s inaugural heavyweight title in the PFL Champions Series 4 main event on Dec. 13 at LDLC Arena in Lyon, France. Nemkov, 33, finds himself on a remarkable 14-fight unbeaten streak that spans more than nine years. The Russian sambo practitioner last saw action on Jan. 25, when he improved to 18-2 and put away Tim Johnson with a rear-naked choke in the first round of their PFL Champions Series 1 pairing.
