While the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday begins a swing of eight straight weekends of events, the No. 2 mixed martial arts promotion remains eerily quiet. No Bellator MMA shows have taken place in 2021, nor have any future cards been announced. In spite of this calm, 2021 could shape up to be an important year for Bellator with many key questions left to be resolved.
