Terence Crawford Held at Gunpoint, Handcuffed by Police in Hometown

Terence Crawford was stopped by police, held at gunpoint and handcuffed in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday night.

The Omaha Police Department has released a statement after a video surfaced of the incident, which occurred following a celebration of Crawford’s victory over Canelo Alvarez. According to the statement, Crawford had been pulled over for reckless driving when the officer noticed a firearm in the vehicle.

Omaha Mayor John Ewing and Police Chief Todd Schmaderer are aware of a video circulating on social media regarding a traffic stop involving Terence “Bud” Crawford early Sunday morning.
