On Thursday Nelson Ivan del Valle-Nazario, 34, of Tampa, Fl. was sentenced to life in prison for sexual battery against a minor under the age of 12 (per WFLA). He was also sentenced to an additional 60 years on four counts of lewd and lascivious battery.
Nazario is a former pro MMA fighter, whose record is 3-3 according to Tapology where he is listed as Nelson ‘Angry Bird’ Delvalle. His record includes appearances in Real Fighting Championships (RFC) and Fire & Ice Fighting Championships between 2012 and 2016.
Nazario owned Undisputed Fitness & Martial Arts on Waters Avenue in Tampa, where he also worked as a martial arts coach.
