Over the past few months, there have been talks about a possible fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather himself teased about it through an Instagram post right after UFC 246 last weekend.
Khabib’s father, Abdulmanap recently went on record to speak on behalf of team Nurmagomedov. While he did stress that they are currently focused on Tony Ferguson, he also spoke about their plans in relation to the Mayweather fight.
“Mayweather has statistics on fights of 50 wins and zero losses, he is the greatest in boxing and he wants to fight with the same champion who did not lose a single fight, with Khabib,” Abdulmanap told Tass.
