The MMA veteran says, Japanese fighters were always clean during the Pride FC era.
Tatsuya Kawajiri has fought all over the world, but is mostly known for his battles in the now defunct Japanese PRIDE FC organization, that was once the leading MMA promotion in the world. PRIDE will always be remembered for it's huge stars, such as Fedor Emelianenko and Wanderlei Silva, historic fights, a general lack of consideration for weight classes, and for a rather lax dealing with performance enhancing drugs.
One of Japan's MMA legends, the 37-year old Tatsuya Kawajiri, now assures, that at least his countrymen have never used PEDs during the PRIDE era, and that he welcomes the UFC's new anti-doping policy.
