Undefeated Shooto Flyweight champion, Tatsuro Taira signed his UFC contract two weeks ago and now his opponent for the promotional debut was announced.
According to MMA Junkie, at UFC Fight Night 208 on April 30 in Las Vegas, Taira, a rising star with an unblemished 10 – 0 MMA record will take on fellow debutant, Carlos Candelario.
Taira, only 22 years old, captured Shooto flyweight title at Shooto 0712 event back in July 2020 when he submitted Ryuya Fukuda in the very first round, extending his winning streak to 9 – 0.
