Chael Sonnen’s grappling promotion Submission Underground held their fourth event today at the Roseland Theater in Portland, OR, and there were a lot of stars on hand. The main event featured longtime top MMA fighter Jake Shields taking on the brash recent Bellator signee, Dillon Danis. Also on the card was UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber, who was taking on Paulo Miyao, and UFC welterweight Gilbert Burns, who met John Combs.
In the main event, Shields was a 4-1 underdog coming but ended up taking the win in overtime via escape time.
